A gentle demonstration with Maggie
We’re preparing a short video to walk you through the points and show you how to tap. In the meantime, the guide below is here to help you begin.
Your tapping-points guide
Read the tapping points
- Side of the hand (karate chop): the outer edge of the hand.
- Eyebrow: the beginning of the eyebrow.
- Side of the eye: the bone on the outside of the eye.
- Under the eye: the bone directly under the eye.
- Under the nose: between the nose and upper lip.
- Chin: between the lower lip and chin.
- Collarbone: just below the collarbone.
- Under the arm: about four inches below the armpit.
- Top of the head: the center of the top of the head.
Keep it gentle.
Use two or three fingertips and a light touch. There is no perfect pressure or speed. Follow at your own pace, skip any point that feels uncomfortable, or simply listen and pray without tapping.
The tools help quiet the noise so we can return to the relationship.
As you tap, bring your attention to Scripture, prayer, and Jesus. You don’t have to achieve a particular feeling before you come to Him.
