Welcome. Take a breath.
If you're new here, this page is the on-ramp. Read it slowly. There's no rush.
What Selah Reset is, in one breath
Scripture-rooted EFT tapping for your nervous system. It's a body practice that helps you receive, in your actual body, what God has already said about you in His Word.
That's the whole thing. You read Scripture. You gently tap through nine acupressure points on your face, collarbone, and hand while speaking the truth out loud. Your nervous system calms. Your body and your faith finally get to be in the same room. Something shifts.
What tapping actually is
EFT — Emotional Freedom Technique — is a simple practice where you gently tap specific acupressure points on your body while speaking honestly about what you're feeling. The tapping signals your nervous system to calm down (via the vagus nerve, which runs through the points you're touching). The speaking lets your body and your mind engage the truth at the same time.
There are nine points. Eyebrow, side of eye, under eye, under nose, chin, collarbone, under arm, top of head, and the karate chop point on the side of your hand. You tap lightly — not hard — about three to five times on each point. That's it. No equipment, no special posture, no performance.
If you've never tapped before and you want to try it right now, the fastest way to learn is to grab the free Day 1 of the Anxiety Path. It walks you through every point with exact wording. You'll know after one session whether this is for you.
How faith fits in
Tapping is a tool. Scripture is the content. Jesus is the center. I use tapping the way you might use journaling, or worship music, or walking in creation — as a body practice that helps you receive what God has already said. The practice is neutral. The words you put into it make it holy.
Every path, every session, every free script on this site is built around specific Scripture. You won't find generic affirmations here. You'll find Psalm 139 and Philippians 4 and Romans 12:2 and Isaiah 53:5 — spoken into your nervous system in a way your body can actually receive.
If you have questions about whether tapping is Christian, I wrote a real answer on the blog. Please read it before you decide. I respect the question.
Your first step
Here's what I'd do if I were new here:
- 1. Start with the free Day 1. Day 1 of the Anxiety Path is a full guided tapping session through Philippians 4. It's free, it's short, and it will teach you the basics while actually doing real work on whatever you're carrying today.
- 2. Read the story. If you want to know who built this and why, the About page tells you the actual healing story. I think it helps to know whose voice is in your ear.
- 3. Pick the path that fits your season. There are seven Tapping Paths, each for a different kind of hard. Anxiety, Rest, Identity, Healing Body, Faith Deepening, Relational, and Creative. You'll know which one is for you when you read them.
- 4. Consider a custom meditation if you want me to make you one. The Custom Tapping Meditation service is for when the library doesn't fit and you want something written specifically for the thing you're walking through.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Ready to try your first session?
Day 1 of the Anxiety Path is free. Takes about 15 minutes. No sign-up hoops, no upsell chase.
